My Work 〰️

My process

When I’m researching any topic, I take care to consider the personal, social, and structural lenses that shape how people experience the world around them.

I love thinking systemically and creatively to tackle new problems and improve experiences in peoples’ lives. When approaching a new problem, I become hyper-focused on identifying who is affected by the problem, understanding how the problem impacts their lives, and finding the best solution to improve their experience.

  • Scan the market landscape to find the right area(s) of opportunity to focus on in a holistic research (qualitative and quantitative) deep dive.

Dig deep into the problem(s) people are experiencing to understand their actions, motivations, and barriers to action that influence their beliefs and behaviors.

  • Connect the patterns that emerge across individual perspectives to craft a narrative of shared stakeholder needs that will guide ideation.

Assemble a collection of the best ideas that can work together to satisfy the most actionable & impactful unmet needs of core stakeholders.

  • Share designed solution(s) with relevant stakeholders to understand how it’s actually working to satisfy their needs and what gaps are being left unresolved.

Prepare a path forward to get the “best” solution(s) built and ready to make an impact for potential users.

problems I'm interested in working on 〰️

  • How do digital products and services improve or impair the lives of their users?

  • How can we design new experiences that create stakeholder value from the exchanges people engage in every day?

  • How do people’s past experiences and learned beliefs impact the way they interact with the people, places, and information they encounter in newly designed products and services that are intended to meet them where they are and guide them to overcome the barriers that prevent them from taking action to solve problems in their lives?
